Counsellor in Training - Leadership Program

Completed Grade 7 and 8

Our dynamic Counsellor in Training (CIT)- Teen Leadership Program equips participants with essential skills for leadership roles at camp and beyond. The program balances group bonding, hands-on cabin and specialty placements, leadership workshops, and community projects. CIT campers will also enjoy fun camp activities, from theme days to games, swimming, and special events, all while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills along the way!

Our CITs will take the next step by applying their skills in real camp settings through daily placements with campers and specialists, while also participating in leadership and reflection sessions to deepen their learning. With engaging leadership workshops, team challenges, and meaningful reflection sessions, CITs will walk away with practical tools, lasting friendships, and a true sense of what it means to be part of a camp team.

Campers completing Grade 7 can choose the experience that best fits their goals and interests either stepping into our CIT program to begin developing foundational leadership skills or continuing to enjoy the Classic Camp program. Both options offer meaningful opportunities for growth, friendship, and fun in the Centre Camp community.
